Mapping Sisters' Future (Virtual)

Join us this evening as we take a deep dive into planning for the future of Sisters Country.

The Comprehensive Plan update could result in expanding Sisters’ Urban Growth Boundary beyond current city limits. We are working with the community to advocate for limited expansion to protect surrounding waterways and wildlife while also promoting complete neighborhoods where people can live close to where they work, play, and shop.

Learn about specific laws and policies that will affect the Comprehensive Plan and Urban Growth Boundary. Get valuable insight into land use policy and the specific areas for discussion in Sisters. Find out about opportunities to provide public input to provide the City with your valuable insight.

This event is open to all. We want everyone to have a seat at the table, especially surrounding such a pivotal planning process. RSVP for this virtual event here.

Sisters Advocates Organizing Meetup (Virtual)

Central Oregon LandWatch is building a community advocacy network to provide valuable insight into the City of Sister’s Comprehensive Plan update to ensure it charts a course toward the future Sisters residents desire.
We are gathering Sisters advocates for wildlife, wild lands, and healthy communities to discuss the planning decisions being made each month at the Advisory Committee meetings.

We invite you to take part in this small interactive focus group that will prepare participants to meaningfully engage in the City of Sisters Comprehensive Planning process.

Please let us know if you’d like to add your name to our list of stakeholders in the Sister’s community and email our Director of Urban Planning here.
