ANNOUNCING - Our Last Crop

From the iconic landscape to delicious local food, from our thriving rural communities to important wildlife habitat--agricultural land, also called "resource land", is part of our way of life

We will announce details of our first public showing in the coming weeks, which will include a panel of farmers and ranchers featured in the film and some very tasty raffle prizes.

STILL UNDER THREAT

Our agricultural land is still under threat from development pressure in Deschutes County. There is yet another push to undermine the zoning that protects these precious lands and designate them as "nonprime", paving the way for commercial and residential development.

After a series of open houses, the issue will go before the Planning Commission where they will consider whether these lands should be protected or whether they should be designated as "nonprime" resource lands. Two hearings will take place in late May.
