This Spring Hike Series features the lovely Metolius River Basin. Join us for some bird-watching and a walk along the crystal clear blue waters. We’ll explore the flora and fauna of the area’s myriad ecosystems.

• Saturday, May 21th, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

• Length: 3-4 miles

• Elevation gain: level, close to no elevation gain

• Conditions: Partly shady to full shade, potential for patches of mud

• Parking: Lots of parking at the fish hatchery, may need a Forest Service pass. Carpool options are available

• Notes: A hiking stick or trekking poles can be helpful; bring binoculars if you have them

Limited availability to 20 attendees. Please limit your registration to one hike to accommodate all those interested.
