Join Kavi Chokshi, LandWatch's Membership and Engagement Manager, and other folks, for a bright and early hike up Pilot Butte each month. We will keep an accommodating pace for everyone present. We will meet at the main trailhead (next to the bulletin board) at 7am.
Notes:
The parking lot gate is usually closed until 8am, so if you are driving there, street parking is required. If you are not familiar with the location of the parking lot, it’s the "Pilot Butte Trailhead Parking" on NE Linnea Dr.
Please wear appropriate footwear. The Nature Trail is rocky with plenty of loose rock. Caution advised: trail is fairly steep with ~500 feet of elevation within the span of a mile.
Please wear suitable clothing for the weather (it can get windy or sunny up there) and bring water (there is no water access.)
The first 3 folks with a travel mug may get a cup of Kavi's homemade spicy chai (contains whole milk).
It's not a race, it's just on the 1st of each month! Each month will feature different LandWatch staff members and other guests. If you have any questions, text/call Kavi at 302-690-3420 or kavi@colw.org.
